Online Course

AgriLife has released a new online course!   “Food Safety: Texas GAPs & GHPs” covers a variety of food safety related topics:

  • Overview of Good Agricultural Practices (GAPs)
  • Microbiology for Producers
  • On the Farm: Microbiology Concerns
  • Understanding the Role of Water
  • The Importance of Employee Hygiene and Training
  • Facility Sanitation and Documentation
  • The Economics of  Food Safety

Participants will earn a certificate upon completion of the courseware and passing the end of course exam.  To register for the course, go to https://agrilifevents.tamu.edu.  Click on “Online Courses”.  Scroll to find “Food Safety: Texas GAPs & GHPs”, then click “Start”.  Register and submit payment.  Once your payment is approved, you will receive an access code and link to the online course via email.
